Since stepping across the historic threshold of Ananda College Colombo in 1983 and completing our Advanced Level education in 1996, our batch has cultivated an unbreakable fraternity. Guided by the eternal Buddhist tenet "Appamādo Amatapadaṁ" (Heedfulness is the path to the Deathless), our members now serve as pioneering surgeons, captains of industry, tech founders, scholars, and public servants worldwide.

Today, the '96 Group functions as a steadfast pillar of philanthropy, student mentorship, and high-spirited brotherhood—consistently funding infrastructure projects, scholarships, and historic cricket and sporting encounters for our venerable alma mater.

A distinguished group of Ananda College alumni gathered on the historic school quadrangles in front of the iconic white Buddhist shrine and colonial brick hall.
